Annual Spring Picnic
May 31, 2003
This
year’s annual spring picnic started around noon at Rhonda
Gilbert’s house. The entire L&G staff and their families
were in attendance. The day was beautiful and hot, which made
the swimming pool very inviting. Lunch was provided by Low Country
Boil and consisted of crab legs, corn, salad, potatoes and rolls.
The picnic climaxed when the ice cream man came and served everyone
a large dish of ice cream. The children had a great time deciding
which toppings would taste best on their ice cream. Some of
the days activities included a blow up obstacle course, volleyball,
hula-hoop contests, trampoline jumping, soccer, and swimming.
A
special thanks to Rhonda, Jimmy and Sydney Gilbert and Rick
Parrish
for planning and hosting such a memorable event.
