Partners

Rhonda Gilbert
L&G Senior and Founding Partner Rhonda Gilbert has worked in public accounting for more than three decades and has specialized in the construction industry since joining L&G in 1977. Since then, she has worked almost exclusively with general contractors, subcontractors, and heavy equipment contractors who comprise 90% of the firm’s clients. Rhonda’s primary concentrations are in assisting contractors with maximizing their bond capacity, getting the most out of their accounting systems, and advising clients on tax saving strategies. One of the areas Rhonda really enjoys helping the clients with is planning for their retirement, business succession, and developing strategies to minimize estate and income taxes. Read more >>
Tom Savage
L&G partner, Tom Savage, has over two decades of experience in public accounting and has specialized in the construction industry since 1987. Tom’s primary responsibilities at L&G focus on quality control for accounting services provided to the firm’s general contractors, subcontractors, and heavy equipment contractors. Among other duties, Tom supervises preparation of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements and performs technical reviews of staff prepared audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements as well as working on L&G’s special projects team. Gary Fortier
Gary has been an accounting professional since 1991. He specializes in accounting technology consulting, construction industry accounting systems, and implementation. Some of Garys duties include training client accounting personnel, assisting clients with generating monthly in-house financial statements, and consulting on and selling accounting software. Gary is also fully licensed to sell life insurance and securities to implement financial and retirement planning goals. Read more >>
Jeff Aldridge
Since starting with L&G in 1998, Jeff has taken on several roles. As well as supervising the accounting and auditing department, Jeff also is involved with quality control and technical updates for accounting and auditing engagements, financial and tax forecasts, litigation, and also reviews of client monthly in-house financial statements. Paul Schmidt
Paul is responsible for performing and supervising audits as well as managing the tax department at L&G. He ensures that all deadlines are met. Read more >>
Joe Skalski
Joe is a partner at Large & Gilbert. He has extensive experience with estate planning, retirement planning, business succession planning, tax planning, IRS representation and wealth preservation and accumulation strategies.

A licensed attorney since 1983 and CPA since 1984, Joe practiced in Florida for nearly 20 years before moving up to Atlanta and joining L&G in 2005. Born a Jersey boy, he began his accounting career in New York in 1982 and has practiced in the Baltimore- Washington area as a computer programmer, systems analyst and CPA.Read more >>

Nathan Worthey
Nathan, a partner at Large & Gilbert, has over ten years experience in a variety of
taxation. He handles in-depth technical review of Corporate, Partnership, and Individual Income tax returns. He also has a great deal of experience handling and resolving compliance issues with federal and state government agencies, including representing clients in IRS examinations. He also supervises and works closely with other staff members on tax engagements. Nathan really enjoys working directly with clients and the L&G team to formulate tax saving strategies. Read more >>

Kim Skalski
Kim is a tax and profit-sharing plan manager at Large & Gilbert. She has extensive experience with tax return preparation and review as well as retirement plan set-up and administration.

A licensed CPA since 1983, Kim practiced in her native Florida for 24 years before moving up to Atlanta to join L&G in 2005.Read more >>

Dustin Zabrocki
Dustin has been with Large & Gilbert since 2005 after graduating from Kennesaw State University. Since beginning at L&G in 2005, Dustin has been working on complex reviews and audits as well as performing MIS consulting for several clients. Dustin also aids in supervising the accounting and auditing staff. Read more >>

Sydnee Roberts

Sydnee is the recruiter and HR manager at Large and Gilbert, P.C. She has been with the firm for over 10 years. In addition to the college and experienced hire recruiting for L&G, Sydnee also sources candidates for clients of the firm. Sydnee enjoys using her Spanish skills and assists L&G clients with translation from English to Spanish in both written communication and verbal presentations such as safety briefings and 401 K presentations in Spanish. Supervisors

Bobby Lauman
Bobby came straight to our firm in 2005 after finishing his degree at Erskine College. Since then he has primarily worked in L&G’s MAS department assisting clients with month end close work, new software implementation, and other special projects. Bobby also focuses on training clients how to use their accounting software to maximize its benefits. Read more >>
Kelley Newberry
Kelley graduated from University of West Georgia and joined Large & Gilbert in 2007. She primarily works on compilations, reviews, audits, and preparations of income tax returns. Kelly also assists with tax and bond planning and recruiting and training new staff. Read more >>

Beverly Adams

Beverly joined Large in Gilbert in January 2007. She specializes in many areas of tax compliance.  Primary responsibilities include preparation of individual income tax return.  She also handles preparation of various other types of tax returns including payroll, sales and use tax and personal property returns.  Read more >>
